Over 25% of the adult population of the UK has, or had, a credit problem. Some problems are more serious than others. Very, very few are insoluble, if you know where to look and how to approach the situation properly.

There are lenders who'll look at almost any applicant, if you can find them. The chances of you doing so are so slim as to be almost negligible. Expert help is needed, but, wherever you turn, the sources of such help are often potentially, if not actually, biased by their commercial interests or limited by ties to specific lenders or insurers.

Many 'independent' advisors are anything but that. Individual lenders (when you can find them) will only offer their own products, as you would expect. Some 'sources' of finance are, at best, exploiters of the misfortunes of others. Without ties of any sort, with the entire UK mortgage market available for us to search, and our income being fees paid (on completion) by our clients, we're very different to your usual source of 'help'.
